All of our staff are fully qualified and many have been at the nursery for many years. The management is committed to an on-going training programme so that all staff are conversant with current legislation and ideas.

The School Room

The School Room caters for children from the ages of three to five years.

It is well-resourced and is manned by three members of staff, one of whom is a qualified Early Years Professional.

A variety of teaching methods have been adopted to cater for each child's individual needs. There are opportunities for children to engage in activities planned by adults and those that they plan or initiate themselves.

The daily programme enables children to have time to become engrossed, work in depth and complete activities.

As well as planning purposeful activities, staff are on hand to make timely interventions to help children progress in their learning.

The children are encouraged to explore, experiment and plan and make decisions for themselves, thus enabling them to learn, develop and make good progress.
